Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have arrived at the National Assembly to express their discontent over the economic hardship in the country. The NLC had earlier announced its plan to embark on a two-day nationwide protest from February 27 to 28.
Protests began across the country on Tuesday morning, with workers marching through major streets carrying placards with various inscriptions. In a video seen on X by Politics Nigeria, the protesters arrived at the National Assembly, chanting solidarity songs. The intention is for the protesters to be addressed by a ranking lawmaker within the main complex.
